Dakhla is often marketed through kitesurfing, but the official destination catalogue is much broader.

On the water

Kitesurfing is central to Dakhla’s identity, while boat trips and deep-sea fishing are also listed by the local tourism portal. The national tourism office identifies PK25 on the lagoon and Foum El Bouir on the ocean side among recognised sports areas.

On land

4×4 safari, buggy and mountain-bike activities add a land-based option. The White Dune is a signature excursion point, while Imlili gives a very different inland landscape.

For a slower day

Porto Rico and Foum El Bouir beaches, lagoon viewpoints and the oyster-farming area work for travellers who want scenery and food rather than a lesson or adrenaline activity.
